Mladen Pešić graduated in Archaeology and Geography from the University of Zadar in 2007 and began his career as a conservator-restorer of underwater archaeological finds. Since 2005 he has been involved in many underwater archaeological field works. He obtained his PhD in 2019 with the subject ‘African imports recovered from the Croatian seabed dating from the 1st to the 5th centuries AD’. He is currently working as the Director of ICUA Zadar.
